Post 268 of 1734

Paying homage to the most authentic Italian style, Oscar® winning director, Ron Howard, invited Salvatore Ferragamo to design costumes for the characters of his new film, Inferno, which premiered in Florence on October 8th.

More than a year after the first take amongst the streets and monuments of its historic centre, on October 8th, Florence hosted the world premiere of Inferno, the much anticipated new film directed by
Oscar® winning Ron Howard (scheduled for worldwide release on October 13th).

In the last chapter of the director’s trilogy, adapted from Dan Brown’s bestselling novels, Tom Hanks, once again, is Robert Langdon, the teacher of sacred iconology at Harvard University as in the two
previous blockbuster movies The Da Vinci Code and Angels And Demons.

In the new, whirlwind thriller of recognisable style, the great Oscar® winner Tom Hanks and his elegant partner, Felicity Jones, find themselves in the traditional Italian setting, wearing contemporary creations by Salvatore Ferragamo.
