When it comes to expressing creativity through digital textile printing,Pooja Jain makes the job look very easy. Her brand,Paridhi, features an exclusive range of digital printed garments from lehangas,saris, suits and tunics all the way to scarves,jalabiyas, kaftans and clutch bags.

“As a child, I had always loved to play with colors and have been fascinated by the combination of colours present in nature like patterns on butterflies, different kinds of birds and fish, and so on. With digital prints, the sky is the limit and it gave me the opportunity to create what I imagined”, she says, when asked about her inspiration for her designs.

“I named the brand after my daughter,Paridhi. She has been my lucky charm.”

A woman with an in-depth knowledge and expertise in digital textile printing,Pooja’s brand revolves around anything and everything that is digital. Her clothesexude an Indian ethnic touch, combined with wearability that is reflected in her easy silhouettes, minimal value addition and elegant cuts. Jewellery being the main theme of her collection, her customers gave it the title ‘Pooja Jain’s Jewellery prints’.

“My collection is inspired by Indian themes and motifs. It is rich and is apt for formal as well as informal occasions. Printed jewellery and value addition with hand selected stones and embroidery makes an impressivestyle statement.”

Along with designing exquisite fashion accessories and garments, Paridhi also has a home range that includes digitally printed bedspreads, bath and bed linen.

The road to being able to establish yourself in the field is no cakewalk, but Pooja is forever the optimist. “Competition always makes you grow. It has helped me evolve beautifully and create extensively,” she says,“Now that Paridhi has already reached into the hearts of Asians and Arab women, our motto is to dress up women all over the world.”
