ROCK THE RETRO – To take the retro look and give it a modern twist, makeup artist Isabelle Thievot shows us how it’s all groovy again
Begin with a BB cream as a foundation. Massage it into the skin for an even look. Apply concealer to hide imperfections and highlight the edge of the nose, the area just under the eyebrows and the cheekbones. Finish with a loose powder that gives a natural, matte look.
For the eyes, use a black eye pencil to add definition. To open up the eye and make it look bigger and longer, focus on the inner corner.
With the mascara, apply generously to give it a modern ‘60s inspired look on both the top and bottom lashes.
