From intricate details, to elegant basics, to flowing lines, to overpowering ruffles, and even colour-clashing prints, it’s that time of the year again!! Fashion Forward is here! The runways are shined, the catwalk is perfected, the heels are out, the energy is high and the fashion… the fashion is here to make a statement.

Day 1 of Fashion Forward started with a bang. Nour Najem started off with her elegant collection which were interpretations artistic Middle Eastern heritage and application of the golden ratio, Hussein Bazaza opened to a packed house. He explored the story of Princess Mithra and displayed a melting pot of Persian architecture, art and culture. Zareena took us uptown with the uptown girls which was a fun quirky and uber stylish rendition of the 60s through cotton, silks and jacquard. Micheal Cinco closed the day with his edgy perspective on Parisian art. Inspired by Eglise Saint Bernard de la Chapelle, Cinco wowed the fashion hungry with his work of art. Adding the drama with lazers lights and brilliant choreography, each piece by Cinco made your heart skip a little beat.

Our onlookers didn’t disappoint as well. The style at the event was in sync with that on the runway. Check out our favourite street style from Day 1.
