Bottega Veneta is pleased to announce the opening of its second Maison in the world in Beverly Hills, located at 320 North Rodeo Drive. Set on two floors, it measures 4,828 square feet and showcases bags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, fine jewelry, home accessories, luggage, eyewear and fragrance.
The design and concept of the Maisons created by Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta Creative Director, is centered upon the idea of lightness, spaciousness and intimacy in perfect balance, with the aim to reflect the house’s universe in a location that both honors and represents the beauty and discretion of the local architecture, inspired by the cultural life and heritage of each place.
“For the last several decades my eye for this style of architecture has evolved following frequent visits to places such as Santa Barbara, Montecito and Pasadena,” explains Tomas Maier. “The restraint and proportion of the minimalist Spanish Colonial architecture – the lack of color, the simple complexity of the arches, the choice of stone – all contributed to the facade design and interiors for this Maison.”
“Bottega Veneta confirms its commitment to an ambitious development in the United States, focusing on Los Angeles, where the company opened one of its first boutiques in the late seventies on North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills,” states Carlo Alberto Beretta, Bottega Veneta CEO.
To mark the celebration of its new Maison, Bottega Veneta presents the Beverly 71/16 bag in exclusive crocodile and Cervo. The Beverly 71/16 is a style that comes from the Bottega Veneta archive, with its name referencing both the year it was first created (1971), and the season of its reinterpretation (Spring/Summer 2016).
