Designation: Director of Joy Alukkas Group
With the hefty undertaking of the marketing and CSR divisions of the Joy Alukkas Group, Sonia honed in on her keen interest and understanding of design and jewellery and was handed the task of heading the Gold and Diamond Jewellery division of Joy Alukkas, Tbut it was through working with her husband that she learnt how to manoeuvre the various aspects of business and management.
But Sonia’s pride and joy is her involvement in the companies CSR enterprise. Spearheading the ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink’ initiative, she hopes to communicate to women that a simple self-check can help in early detection of the breast cancer, which can then be completely cured in a majority of cases. The group has organized almost 70 road shows to help spread the message and educate women about simple self check steps.
While Sonia is keen on spending as much time as possible with her young daughter, as she grows older she plans on taking up more responsibility and achieving greater heights for the group.
