All in a Day’s Beauty
GETTING WORK DONE
Dressed in white shorts from Tommy Hilfiger and a blue top from Marks & Spencer, Dolly believes that the morning is the best time of the day. “I am full of energy at this point of time. I plan my day and all that I need to accomplish while enjoying a cup of coffee on my terrace. I like to dress in bright colours, comfortable outfits and flat shoes. I look after various aspects for my different businesses, tend to the needs of my home and complete a lot of tasks before I head out for the day.”
LUNCH WITH THE LADIES
After a busy morning at home, Dolly steps out to have a bite to eat with her friends. She changes into a green dress from Ralph Lauren and pairs it with nude heels, a ring from Lebanese jewellery designer Zoughaib and a Louis Vuitton
Capucines MM handbag. “I tend to lean towards plain colours for my apparel choices but accessorise the look with printed scarves.” Respecting the dress code is important to Dolly, especially since she gets invited to many events.
AT THE SALON
Post her lunch, Dolly changes into a simple outfit to head to her spa and look after the business. “The top and pants are from Warehouse and I’ve paired it with a pink singlet that I picked up while travelling to Greece. The outfit I wear has to be practical. While I am at the salon, I know I’m going to be busy doing many things, so I have to be comfortable. I love flowers and never miss an opportunity to pin some to my outfits. I believe it makes an outfit lively, just like a bouquet of flowers in your home.”
A NIGHT FOR FUN
After a long day, Dolly looks forward to a relaxing evening at Zuma, Coya or Play, with friends and family. “You will usually find me in a black dress when I head out in the evening. I think there’s something charming about the little black dress. Plus, it makes me look thinner and more attractive. I pair the dress with a belt from
Valentino, a ring and watch from Bvlgari and carry a small clutch.” And while balancing
a busy schedule is all part of the plan, Dolly’s first priority is always family.
